At the Arbor Day celebration this year, The Woodlands distributed about 31,000 tree seedlings. Seedlings were given out of all sorts of tree varieties:

Texas Flowering Trees and Ornamental Trees

• Eastern Redbud

• Flowering Dogwood

• Southern Wax Myrtle

Native Texas Pine Trees

• Loblolly Pine

Hardwood Native Texas trees

• Red Maple

• Shumard Oak

• River Birch

• White Oak
