The summer of 2005, with Katrina and Rita, and then the summer of 2008 with Ike, may now be a distant memory. But if we are prompted, most of us along the coastal states can remember the devastation. Countless fleets of linemen trucks from all across the country descending on us in the aftermath of those storms, helping us to restore power to our homes, our local grocery store, our filling stations.
